The Candidate

You are passionate about climate change and how to tackle this global issue one trade at a time. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed team player that fosters superior performance by utilizing their competences in recruitment. You have experience with Agency and/or Corporate Recruitment, are self-motivated and eager to develop your commercial and people skills. The ideal candidate should be confident, but open to direct feedback and preferably have a comprehensive understanding of the (Environmental) Commodities or Power  markets. You excel in explaining our corporate story and are able to sell the opportunity to the candidate. We are looking for someone to develop themselves and help grow the company internationally.

We do this by actively advising and executing environmental commodity transactions. Within this young and dynamic market, Caely’s team boasts a wealth of experience and is committed to becoming the go-to knowledge leader and actor within the environmental commodity space. From our headquarters in Amsterdam, we are gearing up to expand our operations into Europe.

 

The Role

The corporate recruiter has to aid and assist Caely with their rapid expansion into the European renewable market. Being a start-up at the moment, the ambition is to become scale-up within the next couple of years. Your main task will be to recruite international talent for our Amsterdam and European offices. In doing so you will be responsible for the whole process, from sourcing the candidates to making the first screenings, contract negotiations and finally taking responsibility for the whole onboarding process.

Next to that, together with management, you will start building up the recruitment department into a fully operational service centre. That means growing the (social) media exposure, managing and growing the incoming applications and setting up a successful (online) marketing strategy. You will have full support from you colleagues and report directly to the management team.

 

The role will consist of, but not limited to, the following actions on a daily basis:

 

  • Sourcing candidates and screening CV’s
  • Presenting candidates to the hiring managers
  • Managing candidate pipelines such as scheduling interviews, discussing feedback and scheduling on-site visits
  • Employment contract preparation and negotiations
  • Onboarding (international) candidates, making them feel at home
  • Manage and update our job postings and (social) media campaigns
  • Organize and manage recruitment seminars and events
  • Help to structure the activities into a professional stand-alone department
     

The Requirements

In order to be considered for the role you will meet the following:

  • Fluent in English, other language is a plus
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, for instance in HR, Communication, Psychology, Business Administration
  • 2-5 year’s experience in Agency recruitment and/or Corporate Recruitment
  • Self-starter, motivated and eager to develop your recruitment and HR skills
  • Articulate, precise and excellent communication skills (giving and receiving feedback)
  • Climate Advocate and has a drive to leave the world in a better place
  • Advanced LinkedIn skills is considered a plus
  • Experience with Bamboo is a plus
  • Living and working in Amsterdam, The Netherlands
